A majority of 58 percent of the public opposes Attorney General Menachem Mazuz's decision to halt reducing the flow of electricity to Gaza because of continuing rocket attacks, according to a survey by Ma'agar Mochot (Brain Base). Only 27 percent backed his ruling.
The survey, commissioned by the "It's All Talk" program on Voice of Israel government radio, also showed a split opinion concerning the actions of police in the Peki'in riots this week. The police action was backed by 31 percent of the respondents and opposed by 44 percent.
