According to an Anti Defamation League Survey, 15 percent of United States citizens hold anti-Semitic opinions.  31 percent of those questioned believe that US Jews are more loyal to Israel than to America, while 15 percent said that US Jews have a disproportionate amount of power.

ADL activists expressed concern at the results, saying they showed an increase in anti-Semitism since the 1990s, when only 12 percent of Americans held anti-Semitic beliefs.  However, the increase might have been due in part to recent immigration, as 29 percent of new Hispanic immigrants held beliefs classified as anti-Semitic. Only 15 percent of Hispanics born in the US held similar beliefs.

While the survey indicated a slight increase in anti-Semitism, it gave some positive results as well.  79 percent of respondents said the Jewish community had a positive focus on family life, while 65 percent said that Jews had made significant contributions to American society.
