Comedian Yisrael Poliakov Dies at 66

(IsraelNN.com) Famous comedian Yisrael Poliakov, also known as Poli, died on Tuesday at the age of 66. Poliakov was part of the “HaGashash HaHiver” ensemble, whose comedy routines have become Israeli classics.
Poliakov was born in Jerusalem and originally intended to become a farmer. His funeral service will begin at noon on Wednesday at the Tel Aviv Cameri Theater, and will end at 2:30 p.m. at Kibbutz Einav. Poliakov is survived by his wife and three children.
