Rallies in Venezuela and Amsterdam began an evening of worldwide events in support of kidnapped IDF soldiers on Tuesday evening. The events were organized by the Jewish Agency and the World Zionist Organization. According to Omedia, approximately 800 people participated in the Venezuela rally, while 1,500 joined in the demonstration in Amsterdam.
Rallies are to take place in a total of 45 countries. The demonstrations will take place simultaneously at 9 p.m. Israel time. Activists hope to show solidarity with kidnapped IDF soldiers and their families and to pressure the international community to work for the soldiers’ safe return.
