The Supreme Court has rejected a petition brought by assassin Yigal Amir, who asked to be allowed to attend the brit milah (ritual circumcision) of his baby boy.  Judges said the issue should be decided by a district court, and refused to rule on the issue.

The brit milah is to take place on Sunday November 4.  The day will be the 12th-year Gregorian-calendar anniversary of the day on which Amir shot and killed then-Prime Minister Yitzchak Rabin.
