A poll conducted by senior Technion lecturer Dr. Yousef Jabareen shows that Israeli Arabs are more likely to believe reports on Hizbullah’s A-Manar television station than reports from the Israeli government.  70 percent of the 500 Arab Israelis questioned by Jabareen said they do not trust the government, while only eight percent said they did.  In contrast, 44 percent said they trust A-Manar, 30 percent said they somewhat trust the station, and only 25 percent said they do not trust it at all.

Those questioned also expressed a lack of faith in Arab institutions in Israel.  53 percent said they do not trust Arab parties in the Knesset, while 56 percent said they do not trust the Supreme Follow Up Committee for Arabs in Israel.
