(IsraelNN.com) Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni met with United States National Security Advisor Steve Hadley on Thursday to discuss ongoing negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.  Livni expressed hope that the talks would lead the PA to “fulfill its security commitments from the Road Map, and only then Israel will be able to carry out her part.” 

Livni’s statement was seen as a response to PA claims that the PA had fulfilled its part of the first stage of the road map, which was to include fighting terrorism, declaring its support of Israel’s right to exist, and ending incitement in schools and media.  PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas accused Israel of ignoring the Road Map.
