(IsraelNN.com) French President Nicolas Sarkozy has come out against the Palestinian Authority (PA) demand to allow millions of foreign Arabs to settle in Israel. The PA's "right of return" campaign, a take-off of the Jewish state's policy to grant citizenship to Jews in the Diaspora, involves more than five million Arabs who claim to be descendants of those who fled the country during the War of Independence.

Sarkozy told visiting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert Monday that the PA demand is "not reasonable." He added that the establishment of the modern State of Israel is a miracle that is "the most significant event of the 20th century."
