One of the Arab terrorist rockets fired on Israel Tuesday morning exploded near a strategic site in the port city of Ashkelon. Officials did not release details but said there was no damage.

Ashkelon is home to a huge electricity generating station and oil and gas pipelines. Terrorists occasionally have fired Kassam rockets on the city, whose distance from northern Gaza is about the maximum limit of the range of the rockets. However, Arab terrorists recently fired a longer-range Katyusha rocket, which can easily reach Ashkelon.
