Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has called on Arab countries to boycott the planned conference on the Middle East to be sponsored by the Bush administration in Annapolis, Maryland in December. The summit originally was scheduled for November, but has been postponed to allow more time to bridge serious gaps between the Palestinian Authority (PA) and the Olmert administration.
Ahmadinejad warned Arab countries "not to fall into the trap that Israel is preparing" and that Israel and the United States are plotting to exploit the conference for purposes against Arab interests.
