Four activists – two from the Right and two from the Left – were detained by police Friday morning in Hevron, the Jewish people's City of Patriarchs. The activists had begun to fight each other at the site of the grave of Dr. Baruch Goldstein, who shot 29 Muslims dead during their prayers in Purim of 5754 (1994).

One of the people detained was Itamar Ben-Gvir, who asked afterwards why the police did not arrest leftist Yehuda Ben-Shaul and issue an order preventing him from coming near Hevron. Ben-Gvir said Ben-Shaul is a provocateur with a history of attacking soldiers, trying to burn synagogues and creating confrontations.

"If he was a right-winger, the police would have issued a protective order against him a long time ago," Ben-Gvir noted.
