The Health Ministry warned hikers Friday against entering the waters of the Majrasah River (Nachal Daliot Tachton), which flows into the Sea of Galilee from the Golan Heights, because of an excessive presence of bacteria in the water.

The ministry is monitoring the stream's condition and will continue to update the public.
