Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak collapsed last week before a planned visit to Saudi Arabia and has been under close medical supervision since then, Western intelligence sources told the World Tribune.
One source said that while the 79 year old Mubarak's present condition is not life-threatening, he is very weak, and his doctors would not even let him fly to Germany for tests.
Rumors of Mubarak's ill health have surfaced time and again in recent months, and have been denied by Mubarak.
