A 64-year-old resident of Elon Moreh and another person were rescued Thursday afternoon by the Israeli Air Force and the Coast Guard after going adrift in the Sea of Galilee (Kinneret).

The two had been floating on an improvised Styrofoam boat when winds swept them far from shore.

One of the Styrofoam sailors swam four kilometers to shore and alerted the authorities.
