Public Security Minister Avi Dichter (Kadima) warned on Army Radio Wednesday, "Either we keep the army in Gaza or we meet the explosives belt in Tel Aviv." He made the comment after Gaza terrorists killed IDF soldier Ben Kubani during a counter-terrorist operation that left one terrorist dead and three others wounded.

The Kadima minister has been one of the most vocal party Knesset Members opposing the government's policy of allowing Hamas to bring in from Egypt hundreds of tons of explosives and weapons.
