The Search Committee for the Post of State Prosecutor has published a list of six final candidates for the job.
The candidates are Deputy State Prosecutor Shai Nitzan, Attorney Avia Elef, Central Province Attorney Rachel Shiber, Attorney Yehuda Weinstein, former Provincial Attorney Moshe Lador and the Chief Military Attorney Brig.-Gen Avichai Mandelblit.
Nitzan, Elef and Shiber suggested their own candidacies to the committee, whereas Weinstein, Lador and Mandelblit were contacted at the committee's initiative and added to the list.
