Report: Kaddafi Bought House for Suha

According to reports in the London-based Al-Quds Al-Arabi, Libyan leader Muammar Kaddafi recently purchased a one million Euro home for Suha Arafat, the widow of former Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat.  PA sources said Kaddafi decided to purchase the house after Suha and her 12-year-old daughter Zahwa were expelled from Tunis, allegedly due to a business dispute.

Suha Arafat’s new house is located in Malta, where her brother, PA representative Jubran Tawil, lives.  Kaddafi reportedly sent his son to purchase the house and guarantee Suha’s safety.  He also appointed three Libyan bodyguards to serve the Arafat family in Malta.
