The family of kidnapped IDF reservist Eldad Regev commented Tuesday that progress is measured in actions, not just words. The remarks by Regev’s brother Benny were a response to a statement by Hizbullah arch-terrorist Hassan Nasrallah who said there was “progress” in negotiations with Israel over Regev and fellow IDF captive Ehud Goldwasser.

“Progress in the negotiations must mean something tangible,” said Regev, “like allowing the Red Cross to visit them or the release of any credible information regarding their well-being.”  Hizbullah has consistently refused to allow visits to the hostages by anyone, in violation of the Geneva Convention. The condition and whereabouts of the two soldiers, who were kidnapped in a cross-border raid in the north by Hizbullah terrorists in July 2006, remains unknown.
