      Hebrew University Officials Threaten Strike

Hebrew University administration officials Monday threatened to shut down the campuses at the start of university school year next week if the government does not add 300 million shekels ($75 million) to its budget.

Last year, students were in the forefront of shutting down the country's universities because of the proposed Shochat Commission reforms, which Hebrew University said it backs but lacks funds to implement.
