From Today: Students Pay Half Price on Buses

(IsraelNN.com) Beginning Monday, college and university students will receive a 50 percent discount on regional bus tickets. Students will be allowed to purchase semester-long bus passes for one half the cost of buying several individual month-long passes.
The price of the semester-long tickets will range from NIS 395 in Be’er Sheva to NIS 604 in Jerusalem and Haifa. The tickets will be good only on city buses, and no similar discount is available on intercity bus fares.
