Secondary School Teachers, Ministries Resume Talks

(IsraelNN.com) Negotiations resumed Sunday between the Secondary School Teachers’ Association and the Finance and Education Ministries as some 400,000 students remained out of the classrooms as the strike entered its fourth day.

The teachers walked out of their middle and high school classrooms last week after talks broke off between the union and government officials.  The union is demanding a 15-percent wage hike and an improvement in working conditions.
