Nahal David Closed, 'Suspicious' Figures Spotted

The Nahal David spring ("Spring of David") and 300-meter waterfall in Ein Gedi, a popular oasis in the Judean desert, was closed to tourists early Sunday afternoon after IDF security forces spotted four “suspicious” figures.

IDF Army Radio reported that one of the men appeared to be carrying a Kalashnikov rifle, which is commonly used by security forces and other gunmen in the Palestinian Authority.

      No further information was available.
