(IsraelNN.com) Police have rescued three boys who were reportedly abducted and taken to the north Jerusalem neighborhood of Shuafat (Shoefat) by an Arab taxi driver. The boys had gotten into the taxi cab at the French Hill junction in Jerusalem and asked to be taken to Beit El. Instead, the driver entered the Shuafat neighborhood, where a mob began congregating around the youths.

One youth managed to alert the police, who came and rescued the three boys and are now looking for suspects in the incident.

Shuafat is one of the neighborhoods slated by leftists – and some right wing politicians – for transfer into Arab hands.
