PA Official: Western Wall Must be Under Muslim Control

(IsraelNN.com) Adnan Husseini, a senior advisor to Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, said Thursday that the Western Wall (Kotel) "is part of Islamic heritage that cannot be given up, and it must be under Muslim control."
His comments that all of the Old City belongs to the Muslim is in opposition to statements by Abbas that a land swap would allow Israel to retain sovereignty of the Jewish Quarter and Western Wall in the Old City.
