(IsraelNN.com) Likud Knesset Member Yuval Shteinitz said Friday morning that the developing peace program of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is a "death trap" that sets the stage for war. Replying to the report that the Palestinian Authority (PA) has accepted in principle the Taba agreement, which granted the PA control over most of the Old City, the Likud MK said it would allow Muslim extremists to take over the area and begin a war.

"Don’t go to Annapolis," advised MK Shteinitz, who was chairman of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee in the Sharon government.
