Police from the National Economic Crimes Unit will question Gil Pensioners party Knesset Member Yitzchak Ziv Thursday on allegations of sexual assault.

Israel Police Investigations and Intelligence Commander Yochanan Danino assigned the case after receiving an official complaint in July 2007 from a woman referred to as “R.”

The complainant, a 62-year-old party activist alleged that Ziv attacked her sexually in March of last year. The attack allegedly took place at Ziv’s home. He denies the charges.
