Hamas-Fatah Reconciliation on the Horizon (IsraelNN.com) The Hamas terrorist organization is seeking a rapprochement with its rival, Fatah, according to a report by the Aljazeera Arab news network. Former Palestinian Authority Prime Minister and Hamas head Ismail Haniyeh announced in a statement that the terrorist organization has “agreed to hold talks with Fatah in one of the Arab capitals. In the statement, Haniyeh also showed signs of relenting on the group’s choke-hold in Gaza, saying its administration there is “temporary.” The last time the two groups held talks in "one of the Arab capitals," it resulted in a Saudi Arabian-sponsored PA unity government shared by Hamas and Fatah. The initiative fell apart within hours as terrorists from both groups resumed their internecine war. ![]() Sign up for new Daily Israel Headlines: One page – All the news © A7 Syndications - This article may not be republished freely.
