United Nations recruiters are searching for the “best and brightest” Israelis for work in agricultural development and other foreign aid programs at an event being hosted Thursday afternoon at Tel Aviv University’s Bar-Shira Hall.
“They want Israelis. It’s very simple,” said Shachar Azhavi, Chairman of IsraAID Israel Forum for International Humanitarian Aid, which shared sponsorship of the event, as well as the Foreign Ministry.
Recruiters from UN-HABITAT, the World Health Organization, U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees and the U.N. Environment Program will be at the event. Among them will also be Israelis who have previously served in the organizations.
