The United States Treasury Department has named three Saudi Arabia men as Specially Designated Global Terrorists who have financed terrorism. Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence Stuart Levey said, "These three terrorist financiers were instrumental in raising money to fund terrorism outside of Saudi Arabia."
They supported an Al Qaeda-affiliated organization called the Abu Sayyaf Group, that was responsible for multiple bombings, kidnappings and other terrorist attacks in Southeast Asia.
