Discount Bank is severing its commercial ties with Gaza, following a similar decision by Bank Hapoalim two weeks ago.

The bank's official statement to the Stock Exchange said that "in view of the National Security Cabinet's decision to declare Hamas in Gaza a hostile entity, the bank Board of Directors has decided to cease all activity with the banks registered in Gaza and with other banks' branches there."
