The former head of Iran's negotiating team on the nuclear program, Hasan Rouhani, said that President Ahmadinejad is causing a growing number of countries to turn against Iran and that he has failed to deal with the country's economy.

Rouhani was dismissed from the nuclear negotiations post in 2005 but remains a senior official in the Iranian regime. He is a member of the Supreme Council for National Security and of two central religious bodies.
