Made In Israel: Color Code Turns Stale

An Israeli-patented color-coded sticker notifies customers when an expiry date has been reached, or when the product is stored in improper temperature conditions. The patent was developed by the Freshpoint Quality Assurance start-up company, Globes reported.

The sticker's ink changes colors according to the temperature and is produced to change color when a certain time passes. The patented sticker is used by American, European and Far East food firms.
