The rocket which exploded in the cemetery of the western Negev town of Netivot Sunday morning was a long-range Grad-type Katyusha rocket, according to and unnamed IDF source. “This may have been a test run,” said the source, who said terror organizations are upgrading their arsenal.
The missile had been identified by a Negev police lab earlier in the day as having a 20-kilometer range. Testing is continuing.
