Arabs in Wadi Ara (Nahal Eeron) pelted Israeli vehicles with rocks on two separate occasions Friday morning. A passenger bus and a private vehicle were damaged but no one was injured.
Police are searching for the attackers.
Nahal Eeron, which borders on northwestern Samaria, is a part of Israel since 1949. It is inhabited by some 100,000 Arabs and about 3,000 Jews. A dry riverbed that leads from the Hadera area to Megiddo, it was a part of the biblical "Sea Road" ("Via Maris") from Egypt to Babylon and Assyria.
