Convicted Holocaust denier David Irving is about to launch a nationwide speaking tour of the UK and a new series of books, the Jewish News reported.
In an interview with British daily The Guardian, the 69-year-old Irving, who spent 13 months in an Austrian jail after being found guilty of Holocaust denial, announced his comeback with a series of new books.
Jon Benjamin, Chief Executive of the Board of Deputies of British Jews said: that "any road show would be more of a freak show” [sic] than Irving's appearances, according to European Jewish Press, Karen Pollock, Chief Executive of the Holocaust Educational Trust (HET), said: "I cannot understand why anyone would sympathize with his spurious views." Lord Foulkes, of the Labour Friends of Israel, said: "It is a frightening thought that he is still pursuing his agenda."
