      Birkat Cohanim at Kotel Sunday

The traditional mass Birkat Cohanim (priestly blessing) at the Kotel will take place Sunday morning, the fourth day of Sukkot. The main shacharit (morning) service will begin at 8:15 AM, and Birkat Cohanim for that service will take place around 9 AM. The Birkat Cohanim for the Musaf service will take place around 10 AM. The Rav of the Kotel, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovitz, urged Cohanim to come to the Kotel to bless those coming to pray at the Kotel.

After services, Rabbi Rabinovich, along Sephardic Chief Rabbi Shlomo Amar and Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi Yonah Metzger will receive worshippers in a special Sukkah set up for the purpose in the Kotel plaza. Large police contingents will be on hand to ensure order and provide security, Jerusalem police said.
