Former MK and Jewish Agency head Avraham Burg declared this week in an interview with Channel 1 TV that he does not believe that there is a G-d.
Asked why it is that he wears a kippa (Jewish head covering meant to indicate that there is One above), Burg said: “My kippa is an expression of my identity, my affiliation, to my world, but not necessarily affiliated with G-d.”
Former Shas chairman Aryeh Deri, on the same program, said he did not believe Burg’s statement’s about not believing in G-d.
