Arab terrorists continued to attack Israel Tuesday morning, firing two Kassam rockets that exploded in open areas. Prime Minister Ehud Olmert several times has warned that Israel's patience on the rocket strikes is running out but has refrained from ordering the IDF to stage a massive counter-terrorist operation. He told a Knesset committee Monday that a large-scale operation still would not put a total stop to the Kassam attacks.
In Shechem, where IDF soldiers earlier this week arrested a suicide bombing cell, terrorists set off an explosive device against army soldiers on patrol in the city. No injuries or damage was reported.
