Temperatures Wednesday night, the eve of the first day of Sukkot when observant Jews sleep outside in a temporary sukkah of cloth or thin wood, will dip to 16 degrees Celsius (61 F) in Jerusalem. In Tel Aviv, the predicted low will be a more comfortable 23 degrees (73 F) but on the Hermon mountains, the thermometer will drop to 10 degrees (50 F). In Eilat, the low will be 24 (75 F).

Daytime temperatures will be pleasantly warm, with a marked one-day rise on Thursday. The pleasant weather will continue at least through Sunday.
