MK Zevulun Orlev (NU/NRP) spoke out on Monday night against Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s plan to release 87 terrorist prisoners in honor of Ramadan. After reading the list of terrorists to be released and their crimes, Orlev dismissed Olmert’s claim that none of the prisoners had “blood on their hands” as “nothing more than a bluff.”
“We’re talking about dangerous terrorists,” Orlev said, “who carried out terrorist operations and wounded Israeli citizens.” He accused Olmert of attempting to “launder the terrorists’ blood-stained hands.”
