This week’s counter-terrorism operation in the Palestinian Authority-controlled city of Shechem has netted 20 fugitives wanted by Israel so far.

Forces arrested the wanted men in the Ein Beit Ilma neighborhood of the Samarian city during the operation against Hamas and PFLP (Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine) terrorist organizations which have been planning massive attacks against Israeli citizens.

The prisoners were turned over to security officials for interrogation. The operation, in which one soldier has been killed and at least one other was wounded, was continuing Thursday morning.
