(IsraelNN.com) MK Said Nafa (Balad) announced Wednesday that “The Druze Intifada has already begun.”  “Resistance is inevitable,” Nafa said, blaming Druze anger on Israeli authorities who enforce land ownership laws and destroy illegally built houses.  “There will be bloodshed in [Druze villages] Osafiya and Badalya” if houses are destroyed, he said.

Nafa joined the Knesset recently as a replacement for former MK Azmi Bishara, who fled the country after security officials accused him of conspiring with Hizbullah during the Second Lebanon War.  Nafa recently angered security officials and several fellow Members of Knesset when he made an illegal trip to Syria to visit Druze officials.
