(IsraelNN.com) Residents of Sderot responded to two rocket attacks on their city Wednesday night by calling on the government to cut off electricity to Gaza, as was proposed in a cabinet meeting earlier in the day.  “We expect the decision to be implemented now,” said Sderot security task force head Alon Davidi.

Others were less optimistic, saying that the decision to limit the electric supply to Gaza would not be implemented.  “In Gaza there’s light right now; only here there is darkness and terror,” one man said.  The only way the situation could improve, he said, would be if Prime Minister Ehud Olmert would step down.
