Mass prayers for the health of Rabbi Avraham Elkana Shapira will take place at 6:30 pm on Tuesday at the Kotel (Western Wall). Rabbi Shapira is the head of the Merkaz HaRav yeshiva and is a leader of the national-religious community.
Rabbi Shapira’s health has deteriorated over the past few days. Communal prayers organizers have asked that prayers be offered for Rabbi Avraham Elkana HaCohen ben Hana Raizel.
