MK Yossi Beilin, the chairman of the Meretz-Yahad party, said Monday he opposed the demand by MK Zehava Galon (Meretz) that the government report to the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Security Committee regarding the alleged IAF strike on a target in Syria. 

Beilin, who is a member of the committee, said: "Had I thought that something improper had been done in this context, I would have taken the steps that I can take as a member of the committee. In this matter I see no justification for criticism and no reason for exposure."
