A Thai airliner out of Bangkok crashed during its landing on the resort island of Phuket during a rain storm on Sunday, killing at least 30 of the 123 passengers on board. 

Thailand is a popular destination for Israeli tourists and business people.  It is not yet known whether there were Israeli passengers on board. Details to follow.
