Russian tourists will no longer be required to obtain a visa to enter the State of Israel, nor will residents of other countries that were once members of the former Soviet Union (FSU).
The government approved the decision at its weekly Sunday morning cabinet meeting. Also voting in favor was Public Security Minister Avi Dichter, who expressed his opposition to the measure in the past.
