More than 12,000 Israelis have booked virtually all available rooms in hotels and bed and breakfast resorts in the Galilee, tourist officials said. Thousands of others are camping out on the Kinneret and national park sites.

The healthy tourist business is in stark contrast to last year's empty rooms following the Second Lebanon War.
