In honor of the upcoming holidays, the entire Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hevron will be opened to Jews on three different occasions.
A central Selichot event will take place on Wednesday, September 19, at 11 PM. On Sunday and Monday September 30 and October 1, during the intermediate days of the Sukkot Festival, Jewish worshipers and tourists will also be allowed throughout the tomb.
The Hall of Isaac and Rebecca has been closed to Jews for more than a decade, and is used as a mosque by the local Muslim community.
