Arab “vineyard terrorism” has reared its ugly head again: An IDF patrol observed five Arabs uprooting and destroying about 180 vine seedlings on Saturday afternoon between Neria and Nachliel in the Binyamin region. The Arabs, realizing they were caught in the act, escaped into the nearby Arab village of A-Kabila.
This is the second major vineyard attack in recent weeks. In a previous incident, Arabs and leftists destroyed some 5,000 plants. In both cases, the seedlings had been planted in order to ensure that they begin growing before the Shemitta year begins with the advent of Rosh Hashana.
